Why no Sentiment?

Duh, I had a baby nearly 6 months ago. We can't find a nanny. I've got her blog to keep up with. And work. And the garden. Etc. etc. Sorry. I was considering just totally taking down this site. I've archived it to my hard drive, but that's not very satisfactory as it just saves raw text and no formatting...hard to read that later for posterity. For now, it's still here and I guess I'll post again if I ever get a few seconds. In the meantime, thanks for reading and commenting and caring. I do appreciate it.

Marthachik, thanks for letting your readers know that you are okay. Good luck with finding some help, and I'm glad you are enjoying motherhood. It was a good thing we were in student housing when my oldest was born - never would have had time to garden when that kid was little!

Although it won't work for you right now, maybe in the future you might look into the 'gardening with friends' idea. I'm in a group called the Divas of the Dirt; we take turns working in each other's gardens, and have a lot of fun helping each other. The website [not a weblog] is divasofthedirt.com. The Divas use pen names that are little jokes - on the website I am called Glinda.

Happy Spring,
Annie in Austin

Thanks, Annie! I am actually in a gardening friends group and we've just talked about starting to help each other garden (instead of meeting at nurseries and spending too much money)!

I appreciate all of your comments and care very much.

Cheers,
Martha
