Chutes and ladders

Life is like that, isn't it? So very few straight lines, and most of those go straight uphill. And then you land on some sort of slide and end up somewhere completely different from where you thought you'd be -- usually better, but definitely not like you'd planned. Chutes and ladders, people. Who knew? I kinda thought it would be more like Mystery Date or Life, but that's just me.
