Soon it's gonna rain...

That's what they say, anyway. And although I'm disappointed that this could affect my gardening plans for the weekend, we sorely need it. Maybe even emotionally. We're a foot low, rain-wise. I sure could use a big, dramatic thunder-boomer with torrents of rain, just to clear the air emotionally. Makes you feel like things are changing. Now, I don't know if I'm just a freak, but I do feel that the weather affects my spirits on the most minute levels. Changes in atmospheric pressure affect my mood. A good storm is like a good cry. Makes me think of perhaps the only good part of "Men in Black 2" when Tommy Lee Jones asks that cute girl, "You cry every time it rains, right? Do you know why?" "I don't know... It makes me sad." "No, baby. It rains BECAUSE you're sad." Okay, it's a lot cooler if Tommy Lee Jones says it to you.
