Tumbling
Remember those cool rock-tumbler toys some kids had growing up? You could take some crap rock from out in the yard, toss it in, and get...well... a shinier crap rock from the yard. Or sometimes something really neat. I always wanted one of those things. I still pick up rocks all the time, carry them with me, bring them home from trips. My head is like one of those rock tumblers these days. That's why I haven't been writing much. There are a lot of things tumbling round -- sad stuff about Dad (a little), happier memories of Dad and family (more), new beginnings, worry about my dear ones who are struggling, garden plans, work worries... I can't catch ahold of any one of them to really write about. But I have faith that, when all the tumbling's through, there will be some jewels to share. (Insert your "I always knew you had rocks in your head" comments as you will.)
