Garden? I have a garden?
As I haven't updated the garden situation in a long time, I thought I'd have a little "Come to Jesus" with myself about it. (or perhaps a "Come to Bacchus" or some other pagan god?) We have weeds. We have bermuda returning. Not too bad (yet), but M will have to break out the Round Up anyway. Oh, the shame. On the plus side: I replaced the tomatos killed by the hail, and the new guys are doing just fine. Brary girl gave me a bunch of purple bush beans, which should be fun. The berggarten sage is fixin' to bloom, so the bees will be drunk with joy. The savagely transplanted Russian sages are no worse for the wear, but the Jerusalem sages gave up the ghost. (Neither are true sages by the way, and I don't think this really says anything about the hardiness of the Chosen People...) I divided a huge clump of lemongrass into about 12 new clumps. They're pouting, but I see signs of new life in there. Oh, and the columbine are blooming out front in gorgeous purple, blue, yellow and red... and the crocosmia is about to do its devil dance in orange... The iris I moved from the front pathway bed are much happier back in the backyard in the sun. They bloomed like crazy for the first time! Now I want more -- brown ones, perhaps. They suffered a lot of hail damage, though, as did the poor pomegranate trees. And this tough little cactus in the metal planter! Boy does it look like it's been through a war... but it's putting out crazy amounts of new growth, so it's thumbing its nose at the hail. Think you can beat us down? Never!! The roses I wanted to move are still in their old places. I may still risk it and try to move them anyway. They're heirloom rosese, so they're tough. But when? Oh, when?

Thanks anyhow, but I'm not a smoker.
I think it's funny he posted that since you've just stated you're pregnant.
Pictures, we need pictures of growing things. Tomatoes, baby belly, doesn't matter.
