It's official -- I don't care about the 'maters anymore

It's too hot, they look too puny and take too much effort to keep alive at this point (what with all the bugs and the heat) just to get some crummy small tomatoes that go funky before I get a chance to enjoy them. So, I'm ignoring them this week and will probably pull them out next week. In other news: -- I shredded some old checkbook statements yesterday. Here's the solution to identity theft: compost! Shred 'em, and toss 'em in the bin! -- I am worrying that I haven't covered enough of the bermuda. There are a few un-solarized patches on the periphery because I just can't buy a FOURTH roll of plastic... Hopefully I can just pick up another jug of hort. vinegar and kill the stragglers. -- I'm ignoring all the sales emails I keep getting from mail-order nurseries. It's tough, but I must save my pennies for stone and compost this Fall to build the new beds. -- Have I mentioned it's hot?
