Found via the Boing Boing RSS feed: Somebody's created a crazy mash-up of old film footage, telling the story of The Lord of the Rings as Warner Brothers might've made it in the 40s. It's amazingly well-crafted -- somebody really loved this thing. Bogie as Frodo, Sydney Greenstreet (!) as Gandalf... And check out the awesome casting of Smeagol! View the crazy thing here.
